Gloucestershire sightings 4 August 2006
4 August 2006 Frampton Townfield (Sailing Lake) had 250+ Coot, 6 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Green Sandpiper and a Greenshank. Around the pools Southern Hawker, Black-tailed Skimmer, 5 Migrant Hawker, Ruddy and Common Darters. Thousands of Red-eyed Damselflies are also present.
At Coombe Hill Canal from the hide 1 juvenile Spotted Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Black-tailed Godwit and a Curlew. The 'shanks' were also seen on the small scrape on the right before the left turn to the hide. Emperor, Common and Ruddy Darter, Black tailed Skimmer, Emerald, Blue-tailed, Common Blue Damselfies were all present. 3 Red-eyed Damselflies were by the wharf.
